His full name is Sir Winston Leonard Spencer- Churchill.
He was born on 30th November 1874 and died on 24th January 1965 in London.
Churchill was a British politician, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, writer, historian,
journalist, soldier and legislator.
He is considered one of the greatest statesmen of the 20th century.
He came from a prominent family.
Churchill studied the prestigious English school.
He did not reach Good academic results, so he became a military cadet at the prestigious military academy at Sandhurst.
In October 1900 he successfully candidate for the
Conservatives in Oldham in the elections to the House of Commons.
In May 1904 Churchill transferred from the Conservatives to the Liberals
In 1906 The Liberals won elections and Churchill got as deputy minister of colonies.
In 1908 he became Minister of Commerce,
Minister of Interior and Minister of the Navy and Lord of the Admiralty.
He participated in military operations in Antwerp after the outbreak of the First World War.
In 1921, he was appointed minister of colonies
In 1924, Churchill went back into the
conservative camp, and in return received the chair of the Finance Minister.
In 1929 Churchill went to the Shadow Cabinet.
In those years, Churchill published a three-part history of World War I.
Churchill became leader of the opposition in his own party, because it criticized the attitude of Prime Minister (Neville Chamberlain) and his government to Nazi Germany.
