The author presents and interesting thesis on up-to-date topic which is also relevant for our BBA programme. I specifically appreciate the experimentation approach by which the author tried to proof the importance of attention paid to UX design.
I also appreciate the capability of the author to see the limitations of her research and insights provided into UX/UI topic.
In terms of eventual improvements, it would be nice to have better discussion regarding the different structure, content and design of tested webpages.
So the reader could learn principles how to build well designed websites from the UX/UI perspective and what are the common mistakes to be avoided.
It is clear on given examples, but hints which could be used as a framework would be useful.
From the perspective of the experiment and tested websites the results are kind of expected on my opinion. But looking at many other sites these days where lots of content must be delivered, designers are using floating “menu” buttons in order to safe space. In case of tested websites with minimalistic design it is obvious that it is faster and simpler to click on “Events” button rather than going via “menu”. But what if the navigation is due to the content scope more complex? E. g. the website of VSE.cz?
Can you evaluate from UX/UI perspective our University website, at least briefly?
