Overall thesis assessment and questions for the defence:

(Both the Master’s thesis supervisor and reviewer present their questions.)

To create a business plan and start a business is itself very difficult and time demanding. The student chose a snails farm. That makes it more difficult when you start a business with animals or plants. The theoretical part includes all necessary information not just about business plan, but also about legal aspects to conduct a business in the Republic of Moldova and snail types and suitability for business. Analytical part has some mistakes in the content, but this is more about the formalities. Important is that it includes statistical data about import and export of the snail’s meat and demand in Europe. The project part is described in the chapter 7 and also includes all

information according to CANVAS model. I recommend this thesis for the final defense. Only thing I am a bit skeptic is about 7.2 Breakeven point that the business will be in plus numbers in second year.

Questions:

Is the project build for someone with interest to invest into this business?

What was the biggest obstacle to overcome for you during the process of gathering the data?

The contents of Master’s thesis handed over are identical with the electronic version entered in the IS/STAG. Based on the results, it was found that the thesis is free of plagiarism.

The thesis meets the criteria for the defence of the MT1.

In Zlín on: 11. 5. 2017

1 The thesis does not meet the criteria for the defence of the MT if at least one criterion is assessed by 0 points.
