The thesis fulfils the basic requirements such as length, organization, and sourcing. However, I am somehow completely missing the standard sections of a thesis, such as introduction and discussion/conclusion. Many graphs lack an axis label (3, 9…). In addition, the numbering is not logical. Graph 3 is followed by 9. The same goes for tables. E.g. Table 6, without units, they do not make sense. The author presents a pretty well-curated thesis in terms of data which serves as a base for her analyses. I lack a better analysis of the retail sector as a significant player in Mattoni's business. In Table 15, I did not understand the difference between Revenue and Sales. The final recommendations make sense and are well linked to the findings in the work. However, a deeper analysis of some other areas would lead to another set of recommendations that would undoubtedly be important for the company's management. It would have been great if the author also conducted her own data gathering and research to further support the findings and recommendations for the management. The thesis provides some well-done analyses, but generally, the parts of the thesis are not really interconnected and miss the flow. PEST provides interesting and relevant insights, however in the case of Social factors, it is not entirely clear to me where the information comes from, I am missing sourcing.
In terms of the practical use of the findings of the study and the quality of the analyzes performed, I have the following comments:
In the case of stakeholder analysis, I miss some other subjects. Especially in the area of "secondary stakeholders". At the same time, the outcomes from the analysis do not correspond with the Figure 5.
Questions: The issue matrix is also too general. What does the word "quality" mean to individual stakeholders? This is a tricky point, because it is necessary to examine how "quality" is perceived and what the company must pay attention to.
It would also be interesting to look at activity in the field of M&A. Isn't Mattoni a potential next target for big foreign players?
In the SWOT analysis case, do I miss the eco-friendly social trend where customers prefer their own refillable water bottles. Is this something the company should look into or not, and why?
