Candidate attraction and selection methods of companies

Milan Polák

The thesis is focused on the attraction and selection process and methods that are being used to select the candidates. The goal is to discover, which methods are the most widely used among the sample of CEMS students and compare them.

8 The goals of the thesis are generally defined, described more in a detail in

the analytical part.

The thesis is well prepared and presents the analytical view on a standard

HR process of attraction and selection of employees. It brings interesting

The analytical part is very complex, the questionnaire consists from more than 200 questions (the questionnaire is not included). Outcomes from the regression analysis are interesting and applicable to the corporate practice.

In your theoretical part you discuss the Speculative application. How does it fit together with the phenomenon of Opportunistic hiring?

Considering the sectors that respondents worked in, did you identify any pattern or typical experience with both the attraction and selection process?
