The author did a great job in handling such an interesting and a really new topic. There are many articles on additive manufacturing such as in automotive industry, dental, medicine and manufacturing. However, there are not many articles written on the use of 3D printing in food industry. This makes this topic very interesting and worth inspecting. The author used both qualitative and quantitative methodology to drive her discussion part. Although the number of interviews could be more, I am satisfied with the overall analysis of the interviwes. I strongly think that this thesis has major practical implications and shed a great light on this unexplored topic. The interesting part is that author used a range of different foood types and explored the effect of 3D printing on customer's perception. The business model innovation frameworks were used wisely and explained well. The author could futher explain in the presentation that how traditional food companies can offset the high price of this technology (if they use it initially on a small scale)?
