TUNNELS ON RAILWAY NETWORK

Milochov railway tunnel

The new Milochov tunnel (see Fig. 8) is designed for overcoming the bottom of Stavná hill south of the municipal district of Horný Milochov of the town of Považská Bystrica. The tunnel design length amounts to 1861m. The tunnel has one escape gallery ending in the municipality of Horný Milochov.

The year 2021 has moved to the fourth quarter and the construction of the Milochov tunnel is approaching its fi nish. The work in the tunnel tube has been completed. The tunnel equipment is being fi nalised, tests are underway and the work on the trackwork is being prepared.

A layer capable of walking traffi c was completed in the escape gallery, fi re-check doors between the gallery and the tunnel, respectively the technical door on the pressurised chamber are being installed. A ventilation system and service lighting were installed in the pressurised chamber. At the portal of the gallery, a transition block (see Fig. 9) from the tunnel into an open space was built. It will have the shape of a truncated rectangle. A spray-

on waterproofi ng membrane was applied from the outside to protect its surface. A mustering area is gradually created at the gallery portal. The whole perimeter of the area will be provided with the Krismer system of fi nishing the surface of the slopes with green vegetation. The mustering area itself is made up of concrete grass growing pavers.

The eastern portal of the tunnel has been fi nished. Traffi c is diverted over the cut-and-cover tunnel on a new road. The networks in the mustering area with manholes are being completed. All the necessary equipment is installed in the technical house; the work on the outside fi nish of the house and terrain fi nishes in its vicinity is being completed.

The western portal of the tunnel (see Fig. 10) is gradually handed over to the crew installing the track.

The distribution of networks is being completed, the area for the construction site has been cleared and the terrain in the vicinity has been shaped into its fi nal form. The area around the technical house is being completed.

The construction activities are ceasing, the construction sites are being emptied, waste is being disposed of and melancholy is descending on the construction of the Milochov tunnel. The tunnel construction is fi nished and for all people who spent years together and experienced many adrenaline and hard moments, but also moments with a smile on the faces due to

Železničný tunel Milochov

Na preklenutie úpätia vrchu Stavná, južne od miestnej časti Horný Milochov mesta Povážská Bystrica je navrhnutý nový tu- nel Milochov (obr. 8). Projektovaná dĺžka tunela je 1861 m. Tunel má jednu únikovú štôlňu, ktorá vyúsťuje v obci Horný Milochov.

Rok 2021 sa prehupol do štvrtého kvartálu a stavba tunela Mi- lochov sa blíži do cieľa. Práce v tunelovej rúre sú ukončené. Fina- lizuje sa technológia, prebiehajú skúšky a pripravuje sa realizácia železničného zvršku.

V únikovej štôlni sa dokončila pochôdzna vrstva, prebieha montáž požiarnych dverí medzi štôlňou a tunelom, resp. technic- kých dverí na pretlakovej komore. V pretlakovej komore bol na- inštalovaný systém vetrania a prevádzkové osvetlenie. Na portáli štôlne (obr. 9) sa vybudoval prechodový blok z razeného tunela do otvoreného priestoru, ktorý bude mať tvar zrezaného obdĺž- nika a z vonkajšej strany sa aplikovala na jeho povrchu ochrana striekanou izoláciou. In collections of the authors of the article, there are postcards with one „completely ordinary tunnel“ operated on the rail lines in the Czech Republic. This tunnel is located in eastern Bohemia, has a registration number 151 in the Railway Administration network and is named Litice. The authors of the article also managed to look into the documents of this tunnel, supplement them with data found on the web and organise brief information about the history and present of this (as mentioned above) „completely ordinary“

and at the same time quite interesting underground linear structure.

Ve sbírkách autorů příspěvku se nacházejí pohlednice s jedním

„úplně obyčejným tunelem“ provozovaným na železnici v ČR.

Tento tunel se na chází ve východních Čechách, v síti SŽ má evi- denční číslo 151 a je pojmenovaný Litický. Pisatelům článku se podařilo nahlédnout také do dokumentace tohoto tunelu, doplnit ji údaji dohledanými na webu a uspořádat tak stručnou informaci o historii a současnosti této (jak je uvedeno již výše) „zcela obyčej- né“ a přitom docela zajímavé podzemní liniové stavby.

Lokace tunelu

Litický železniční tunel se nachází v bývalém okrese Ústí nad Orlicí, na katastru městečka Litice n/Orlicí. Je součástí trati 021 Týniště nad Orlicí – Letohrad, a to v km 74,449–74,710, mezi že- lezniční zastávkou Sopotnice a stanicí Litice nad Orlicí (obr. 1).

Samotná plocha nástupu sa vyskladá zo zatrávňovacích tvárnic.

Samotný východný portál tunela je hotový. Ponad hĺbený tunel je novou komunikáciou prevedená doprava. Dokončujú sa siete v priestore nástupnej plochy s revíznymi šachtami. V technolo- gickom domčeku sú nainštalované všetky potrebné technológie, dokončujú sa práce na fasáde a na terénnych úpravách v jeho okolí.

Západný portál tunela (obr. 10) sa postupne odovzdáva koľa- járom. Dokončujú sa rozvody sietí, vyčistil sa priestor po zaria- dení staveniska a terén v okolí sa vytvaroval do fi nálnej podoby.

Dokončuje sa okolie technologického domčeka.

Stavebný ruch utícha, stavebné dvory sa vyprázdňujú, likviduje sa odpad a na stavbu tunela Milochov sadá melanchólia. Tunel je postavený a pre všetkých, čo sme pri jeho realizácii strávili roky, prežili mnoho adrenalínových a krušných chvíľ no i chvíľ s úsme- vom na tvári z vydarených vecí, sa tak končí ďalšia etapa v našich životoch, ktoré sme zasvätili tunelárstvu. Vďaka patrí všetkým, ktorí sme to spolu ťahali.

Celú stavbu realizuje združenie Nimnica zložené zo spoločnos- tí Doprastav – TSS Grade – SUBTERRA – EŽ Praha. Tunel Mi- lochov realizuje spoločnosť Subterra a.s. Generálnym projektan- tom pre investora Železnice Slovenskej republiky je spoločnosť REMING CONSULT a.s.

successfully met goals, the next stage in their lives they have dedicated to tunnelling ends. Thanks to everyone who pulled it together with us.

The whole construction is carried out by the Nimnica consortium consisting of the companies of Doprastav – TSS Grade – SUBTERRA – EŽ Praha. The Milochov tunnel is carried out by the company of Subterra a.s. The general designer for Železnice Slovenskej Republiky (Slovak Railways) is the company of REMING CONSULT a.s.
