Konkrétní připomínky a dotazy k práci:

The BT deals with the business strategy of the company that is active in accommodation industry.

However, the author does not state a goal of his thesis. He declares only that he works for this company and is interested to know more about the internal procedures and in applying his knowledge that he gained during his study for a concrete case. Not stating the goal means not assessing it, and it undermines the overall evaluation of the thesis. Nothing is changed by the author´s declaration that the goal is „to analyze the business strategy of the company ABC by conducting external and internal analysis of the firm“.

Analysis is a method, not a goal. The author also sets three interesting hypotheses, but does not explain how he will confirm them by the methodology proposed. The thesis starts with the theoretical part based on literature review that is a solid one, but quite descriptive and longer than necessary. It did not allow the author to keep the extend of the thesis research that is also a very important aspect of it. Nevertheless, the thesis fulfills the requirements given on this type of academic work. It provides argued recommendations and has clear conclusions in which the author explains how he confirmed hypotheses. The thesis proves an added value namely in the practical part that shows the author´s interest and personal involvement in the issue. The quotation is done in a correct way, the format however needs some improvements. Given the high quality of the practical part of the thesis, I propose to disregards the omission of the author in relation to the goal and to evaluate it by the grade 1 – 2 depending on the performance at the defence.

Do you think that the industry will develop in the same manner as before the crisis or did it change it?
