Comments and Questions:
Student Thi Ngoc Huyen Do devotes the thesis to the topic of FDIs and their impact on the Vietnamese economy. The thesis covers a current topic in this territory.
The aim of the thesis is “to clarify the role and impact of FDI on the development of the Vietnam economy, state the causes and discuss the methods to improve negative effects, predict the future perspective”.
From my point of view, such a goal is too broad and ambitious which is also reflected in the analysis. The performed analysis is not deep enough, despite many aspects of the topic are covered but solely in a shallow way.
Concerning the formal criteria, some parts of text miss continuous citations, two different quoting styles are used in the whole text, this issue should be unified. The text includes some typos, there is a space for improvement regarding the stylistics.
On the basis of above mentioned,I recommend the bachelor thesis for defence and I suggest grade 2.
I ask for answering the following questions during the thesis defence:
1. Evaluate the structure of FDIs according to the form of entrance to the Vietnamese territory. Can such a structure cause some problems to the economy?
1. In 2020 an amended legislation covering the FDIs passed the local national assembly taking effect from January 2021. What changes this legislation covers and how they can impact the local FDIs?
Conclusion: The Bachelor Thesis is recommended for the defence.
