Comments and Questions:
The thesis is devoted to the impact of FDI on the Vietnamese economy. For achieving the goal, the author used an appropriate methodology. The research has been accomplished through three parts of the thesis:
an overview of the incoming FDI into Vietnam during the past ten years with consideration of
attractiveness of the Vietnamese economy for this type of entry at the market an analysis of positive and negative impacts of FDI specifically on the Vietnamese economy and the current situation that reflects specificities in conditions for FDI in the period of 2020 – 2021 and perspectives in the future. Throughout those three parts, the author proved that she is able to use and apply what she has learned during her study and that she is able to take relevant conclusions from her research. The structure of the thesis is logical and leads the author to clear conclusions that are presented in an understandable manner. The author consulted parts of her work with the supervisor on a regular basis and respected the
recommendation. In such a way, she achieved a very good (up to excellent) level of her work. Questions for the discussion at the defence: 1) What do think will the main attractiveness for the FDI in Vietnam in the future, namely in comparison with other Asian countries? 2) If the FDI to Vietnam will increase, what negative impact the Vietnamese economy can face? Provide please arguments for them.
Conclusion: The Bachelor Thesis is recommended for the defence.
