Overall evaluation and questions to be answered in the course of the defense:

Occupation of the Bachelor's thesis opponent:
The author chose a very current and important topic – exploring the change in Czech consumers' behavior during the Covid-19 pandemic. The thesis is well-organized and forms a logical whole, balancing the theoretical and practical parts. The author uses many academic sources, which makes the literature review of high quality. Also, the formal requirements and linguistic level are on an extraordinary level. The study is well-grounded in the appropriate theoretical classification (see p. 5), making the exploration systematic and organized. Concerning methodology, the author used in-depth interviews with 10 participants.
Here I see the most critical weakness of the thesis. Whereas the thesis's goal and title anticipate respondents of different ages and places of living, the author focuses only on people between the ages of 20 and 40. I also presume that these people lived mostly in the urban environment. This limitation makes the analysis shifted to a specific segment of the Czech population. The author should have indicated this focus. For example: these days, we indeed see a preference for grocery shopping online (e.g., via Rohlik.cz), but at the same time, many segments of the Czech population continue shopping offline (sales of retailers such as Penny are growing). However, the author tends to generalize his findings to the Czech consumers, which is not correct.
Furtheron, maybe the attitude towards Covid-19 should also be used as a criterium for participant selection (all participants seem to be similar concerning this attitude, which also does not copy the Czech reality). On the other hand, the qualitative analysis is done on the above standard. The conclusions are well presented, and the findings are well discussed with the existing academic sources. Question for the defense: How would you change the research design to make the study more fitting to your thesis's title?
