Comments and Questions:
The aim of this thesis is to analyze differences in disclosures of private information on social media between users from the Czech Republic and Turkey. Due to the territorial specifications, this is a suitable topic for the master thesis. It should be noted that at a general level, the subject of disclosures of private information is addressed by several authors. The research itself is devoted to only six pages (pages 51 – 56). Although it brings interesting information, it is very superficial.
It would be appropriate to carry out a deeper analysis and, above all, to form subsequent
recommendations. The thesis has several other typos and formal shortcomings. The thesis has several other typos, formal shortcomings and inconsistencies.
Question for discussion: 1) How do regulations (e.g. GDPR) affect people’s perceptions of personal data protection?2) How will the protection of personal data develop in the future?
Conclusion: The Master Thesis is recommended for the defence.
Suggested Grade: 3
