Comments and Questions:

I appreciate that the author chose a topic that reflects the current market need as well as her personal and study interests. The thesis explores the employee satisfaction differences between MNC´s and domestic companies.

The goal of the thesis is to: ”discover whether there is a difference in how office employees working in multinational corporations (MNCs) feel satisfied with their job and working conditions compared to employees that work in domestic national companies (DNCs) in the Czech Republic.” Partial goals are formulated accordingly.

The thesis is logically divided and supplemented by illustrative tables. The first part of the thesis is a result of monitoring a rich body of sources including scientific articles. It deals with employee satisfaction and introduces chosen theories and focuses on current trends and key factors influencing satisfaction.

The second part of the thesis introduces the author´s primary research. Quantitative data collected

through questionnaires (sample 80+80) were analyzed using central tendency/mode/mean calculation and presented with graphs and tables. Finally, the key findings are presented and evaluated and

recommendations formulated. The author focused on the importance of key factors influencing satisfaction and on how satisfied employees are with those. Additional qualitative research could bring further

interesting insights into differences in satisfaction levels between MNCs and domestic companies, especially during the Covid-19 situation. The thesis is concluded by discussion and recommendations including limitations.

The decrease in partial score reflects the following: The similarity check result is 18%, nevertheless, all similarities are below 1% per source. Direct citations should not only be quoted with the source but also marked by inverted commas (e.g. Baran, 2012.)

Questions and Discussion:

1) Based on Your research findings, do you think it is possible to say that employees of MNC´s and Domestic companies are on a different level of needs according to Maslow? If so, which levels?

2) Based on Your research results, would you personally prefer to work for a Czech company or a MNC and why?

(2)

Conclusion: The Bachelor’s thesis is recommended for the defence.

Suggested Grade: 1
