Other comments:

The author demonstrated a high ability to work with academic journals and respective research papers, although few most contemporary sources would be a good addition to the review. Research question: “What is the

perceived effect of cultural differences between Russian managers and Czech subordinates with regards to ethical behavior?” is the cornerstone of the thesis. The author answered it within a solid qualitative study, using MAXQDA PRO. The data, method of coding, and outcomes were verified in MAXQDA PRO by the supervisor before writing this review. Several questions in the design were posed in quantitative manner; however, most of the research subjects replied in a qualitative manner; hence the objective was achieved. The research was influenced by Schwartz’s theory of cultural values and project GLOBE. If the student follows the topic towards a doctoral thesis, I would suggest concentrating further on the most contemporary research papers on the subject. Notwithstanding, the result is quite adequate for the diploma thesis.

Questions or comments to be discussed during the thesis defence:

How can your results influence (if at all) the decision-making process introduced in the concepts?

How can other researchers build on your outcomes?
