The thesis scrutinzes the theoretical concept of culture from anthropological perspective, introduces several ways in which culture has been understood by social sciences and reflects on misconceptions within business studies literature.

The thesis is largely based on a theoretical conceptualization of culture

(business culture/corporate culture/etc.). Based on a review of literature author identified key theoretical approaches to culture within the social sciences. He applied the social theory to scrutinize the flawed

understanding of culture within the business studies literature.
