Supervisor: doc. Ing. Aleš Melecký, Ph. D.

The bachelor thesis presented by Hengrui Zhang deals with interesting and up-to-date topic that falls into the area of behavioral economics and finance. The topic is relevant not only for individuals but also for institutions which might be interested in investors risk preferences. Overall, the text of presented thesis is well structured. In the empirical part, the author first discusses the data and their properties including basic statistics of the data and correlation analysis. Then, the author estimates various models and tests them properly to find final specification. The author was able to deal with the issues of possible heteroscedasticity and multicolinearity by modifying estimation technique and excluding some correlated variables from

the model. I like that not only estimation results but also economic interpretations are provided in this chapter.

Conclusion includes brief summary of the results with recommendations and ideas for future research.

Overall, the work is interesting, empirical analysis properly done and findings are relevant. As it is apparent from the conclusion, there is still large potential for future research in this area. I believe that for the bachelor level, the author proofed to have very good econometric knowledge.

I recommend presented bachelor thesis for defense.
