Comments and Questions:
The thesis is devoted to the trade and investment relations between Brazil and China. The author´s goal has been to identify challenges and opportunities that those have in their mutual relations. He considered the macroeconomic indicators of both countries for a specific period in order to establish a basis for assessing the mutual trade and investment performance and concluding with the identification of further possibilities in the development of the relations between those two countries. From the perspective of the goal of the thesis, it has a logical structure and the author has chosen an appropriate methodology. He proved that he is able to apply the knowledge acquired within his study and to come to clear and understandable conclusions. He consulted the parts of the thesis with the supervisor in due time and respected the recommendation on the thesis research. I would have, however, expected a deeper analysis of the trade policy of both countries that would be related to the analysis of the trade relations. The thesis fulfills nevertheless the requirements given on this type of academic work. The format, however, should have been improved. Questions for the discussion: 1) How the trade war between the USA and China influence the trade flows between China and Brazil? 2) Where do you see the main challenges in the development of economic relations between China and Brazil? Would it be in the political or economic area?
Conclusion: The Bachelor Thesis is recommended for the defence.
