Konkrétní připomínky a dotazy k práci:

The thesis is generally well structured and provides a lot of interesting data and analyses. However, the objective should have been defined more precisely, and the study of the relationship between the business environment of China and FDI inflows should have gone more in detail. The author has conducted fair analyses of the business environment and FDI inflows, but the link between them remains unclear. It has been partly compensated through the case study, which showed some possible interconnections based on a particular example.

Generally, I consider the thesis to be of average quality. I recommend it for the defense and propose grading “very good”.

Questions for the defense:

1. How would you evaluate Chinese exchange rate policy and its possible impacts on FDI inflows?

2. What are the critical steps for China to increase its global competitiveness as measured by the Global Competitiveness Report?

Závěr: Bakalářskou práci doporučuji k obhajobě.
