The thesis covers an important topic of Competitive Inteligence in business companies. Although the research has been done in France the relevance of the issue is not bound by the national state's territory.
The thesis scrutinizes the process of CI within the practice of a company strategy and strategic planning. It tracks various stages of the CI structure to understand barriers CI faces on its way to reach the top management. The text provides a comparison of different CI reporting methods with the dissemination part being in the center of it interest. The author focuses on the the ways CI reports are being transmitted towards the top management in order to understand the effect of CI on their strategic decision-making process.
Drawing on a close reading of relevant literature, the author provides an overview of the key concepts and demonstrates a good understanding of the research problem.
The author have conducted a qualitative research among companies in France. Methods are adequate and used correctly in relation to pre-set goals.
Although the objective is described extensively I would appreciate a bit more straightforward message. As the topic is wide and complex the message becomes a bit unclear. Nevertheless, the objective as it has been set has been achieved.
The thesis meets all formal requirements.

Overall, the text is substantiated and original with a limited practical relevance.
