Konkrétní připomínky a dotazy k práci:

The bachelor thesis of student Anastasia Korchagina on the topic ”Risks of Passive Income with

Cryptocurrencies” is a high-quality thesis and the author’s personal interest in the topic is evident from it.

The thesis is organized into three chapters, where in the first two chapters the author introduces and provides the theoretical meaning of the terms discussed and the various forms of passive income in the cryptocurrency industry detailed in the empirical section, and in the third chapter focuses on analysing the exposure investors face and an evaluation of their risks.

The thesis covers a very interesting topic and presents it in structured and concise manner. As mentioned, the first two chapters provide the reader with a basic understanding of the topic at hand so that it is easier to understand the main part of the thesis – the third “analytical” chapter. Moreover, the second chapter provides the reader with an understanding of the different forms of passive income, which even some active investors do not know about. I enjoyed how the author structured the third chapter and used an analysis appropriate for the topic analysed (the four quadrants). Also, I commend the author for her literary usage since it is not yet easy to perform an academic research in this field. I would personally recommend this thesis to anyone who would like a “brief” guide and an overview of the benefits and risks connected to earning a passive income in the cryptocurrency industry.

Based on the comments above, I once more express my appreciation of this thesis and recommend the student for the bachelor thesis defence with anexcellentclassification.

Questions for defence:

1) I am surprised you did not mention any insurance protocols being developed to hedge against the various forms of risk addressed in the thesis. I would like to know your opinion on this topic and the development you see in this area.

2) Also, what is the best strategy would you recommend to a new investor based on your assessment in the thesis presented?

Závěr: Bakalářskou práci doporučuji k obhajobě.
