Comments and Questions:

The master thesis ”Use of social media by political parties of India in comparison of EU” focuses on the activities and engagement of political parties on social media platforms. The research aims are to analyze differences between political parties in India, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain. Specifically, how are using social media and how they are dealing with their followers and fans.

The topic of the thesis is interesting and quite innovative because of the comparison of India with the four countries that have the highest population in the EU.

The student defined three hypotheses. Unfortunately, there is a missing proper verification. Research should have more advanced (statistical) methods.

In general, the thesis is based on solid literary sources, but the student should use more suitable sources than the wiki.

The thesis has some formal issues – text formatting, quoting, and the List of References.

The author fulfills the defined criteria for the master thesis, and I recommend this final thesis for defense.

Questions: What are the main differences between political parties in India and the EU countries? Do you see differences in behavior on social media between different political ideologies?

Conclusion: The Master Thesis is recommended for the defence.

Suggested Grade: 2
