Comments and Questions:

This bachelor thesis is exemining the actual topic of social media in gastronomy and their influence on this market. The bachelor thesis´s aim is to exemine the influence of social media in gastronomy in the Czech Republic and Russia. The author deals with the issue on 62 pages of text, which has a logical structure.

The bachelor thesis is divided into 3 chapters. The theoretical part deals with social media, their typology in general and global media in the sphere of gastronomy. It is interesting to compare special social media used in the Czech Republic and Russia.The bachelor thesis also deals with contemporary trends in social media marketing in gastronomy. In the theoretical part, the author uses a large number of sources, whose citations are properly marked. The second chapter describes customer behavior and decision-making process in gastronomic establishments.This chapter is the basis for the author´s own research. The research and its results are presented in the third chapter. An interesting result is certain differences in the behavior and influence of social media among Czech and Russian visitors to gastronomic establishments.

Questions for defence:

1 Which local social media in Russia in the sphere of gastronomy play the most important role and why?

2 Which generation of customers of gastronomic establishments uses social media in the decision-making process?

3 How will the current situation affect the behavior of customers of gastronomic establishments?

Conclusion: The Bachelor Thesis is recommended for the defence.
