At first glance, the thesis is offering the look of a brilliant research paper. Which is very unusual for the bachelor´s thesis. The linguistic and terminological level, the structure, the way it is organized and how it keeps the logical flow of the information and gradually builds the basis for the subsequent analysis upon well-chosen literature, all the aforementioned highly exceeds the standard requirements for the academic work at this level of education.
Unfortunately, after the deeper dive into an actual content, I ended up very disappointed. The whole practical/analytical part seemed to be written in completely different language (not that polished).
One of the biggest drawback I can see, is author's work with citing. I have stumbled upon one author's paper in the in-text citation, which I wanted to check further, to my surprise, there was no reference in the bibliography. So I took the time to check every single in-text citation and the final count of the sources not mentioned in the bibliography was 49 (!!!). I just do not understand, how is it even possible to write down such an amazing and exceptional quality literature review and forget about the bibliography. If it was done intentionally or not, for me it is the way of cheating, which is absolutely not acceptable.
What more, the practical part seems to be just a compilate of two studies, which are not even mentioned in the thesis (some Fashion Revolution - Consumer Survey Report 2018 and Bachelor Project from Anika CHRISTEN). In many cases, author is using the very same wording even for the discussion of the results and only changes the values for ones from own research.
More then half of the last paragraph of the managerial implications is just copy pasted without any source provided. What also feels a bit absurd is that the managerial implications should build on the results of the thesis and (maybe I am just wrong) they should be produced by the author, not adopted from another source.
Frankly speaking, it was very difficult for me to take a detailed look into the analysis and its outcomes after I found out all the aforementioned.
My only question to the defense is whether author could somehow comment on the points made in this review.
