Comments and Questions:
Within the master thesis, the student focused on the domain of Identity and Access Management (IAM) processes. This domain plays an extremely important role in the security management of companies and its importance is even continually increased along with higher usage of cloud services.
The thesis includes a higher number of formatting and structuring insufficiencies. Among the examples might be mentioned: working with the chapters in the theoretical part (text not divided into subchapters, too small chapters), section headlines without emphasis (e.g. ”Multi-factor authentication:” on pp. 17), text aligned to the left side, different formatting of lists, chapters not started at a new page, etc. On the contrary, the content of the thesis brings a nice insight into the area that the student focused on. Besides, I value the connection (and applicability) into a real business, particularly into the company Medobal, and the
identified results.
Questions: 1. What do you identify as the most important benefit of your research for Medobal? 2. When looking at your performed research backward, what would you change now to make it better?
Conclusion: The Master Thesis is recommended for the defence.
